With much anticipation the Oakland Raiders have announced that they have traded for Seattle Seahawks QB Matt Flynn. Compensation for the trade Seattle picks up two draft picks, a fith-round in 2014 and a conditional 2015 pick as well.
Flynn is enthusiastic with the trade and is well aware of the rebuilding that is going on in Oakland.
“It’s something that fires me up. It’s something that really makes me ready to get here because I want to be part of something special, and I really think that’s a big possibility here; building something special, building a winning environment and building a really good organization.” Flynn said in his introductory news conference Tuesday.
