The Oakland Raiders have resigned Khalif Barnes in 2013

After seeing a bunch of young players walk out the door the Raiders were able to maintain right tackle Khalif Barnes.

Barnes has been with Raiders for four years and was has developed into a solid right tackle.  He struggled at first when he made the move from Jacksonville in ’09, first attempting to play LT and then switched to RT. In 2011 Barnes started to show why the Raiders signed him when the power blocking scheme clicked. Barnes started all 16 games that season.

The only knock I hear is that he is prone to penalties. Holding and False Starts seem to be his big ones. The False Starts can be fixed but the Holding calls can mean that his guy is beating him and he is found out of position. I think this guy has a ton of potential and just needs some coaching up!
