After the the fax incident last week, the Denver Broncos had decided to release Elvis Dumervil to avoid paying him the $12 million they would have owed him. John Elway had said they would look at possible replacements such as; John Abraham and Dwight Freeney. I guess none of them really caught his eye, because earlier today John Elway announced that they had offered him a contract to bring him back (details were not released). “We’d like to have Elvis back,” Elway said. If he were to reject the offer, the Denver Broncos are said to be ready to make a run at Dwight Freeney and John Abraham.
